Early Release Day

Seems like our kids have more early release days and "breaks" then we
ever did!

I try to find something fun to do, but sometime my very early work schedule
has me wanting to take a cat nap ;)

Here's a peek at what we did one day not too long ago.

Bright blue skies and shorts and tee weather in October took us to another one of my favorite
places to go....

The Desert Botanical Gardens.

They happened to have the most amazing sculptures on display.

Insects, Arachnids, and Bugs.....Oh My!

These are the only kind of bugs I think I like.

These were spectacular!

Beautiful and meticulous.

The kids and I really, really enjoyed our day.

It was so much fun discovering where the next giant sculpture was hidden.

And we got to finish the morning off with the butterfly exhibit.

This was truly one of my favorite "Early Release Days" ever!
